Wood Care Greenfix White Oil 250ml – Care Oil for Oiled & Varnished Wood

Description

Wood Care Greenfix White Oil 250ml – nourish and protect pale, light-toned wood.

Beautiful light and grey-toned wood needs the right care to keep that fresh, pale look, and an ordinary dark oil would only warm it up and spoil the effect. Greenfix White is a white wood care oil made precisely for this. It is designed for oiled or matt-varnished wood with a transparent light-grey appearance, feeding the timber while keeping its cool, light character intact.

As well as nourishing the wood, it adds real protection: it helps guard against moisture and heat and reduces the risk of staining from everyday spills and marks. The subtle white pigment intensifies that transparent light-grey tone, so surfaces look refreshed rather than yellowed. It is a lovely, straightforward way to maintain light-oiled furniture, tabletops and other pale wooden surfaces around the home. Do note it is intended for already oiled or varnished wood, not for oiling bare, untreated timber.

Light and grey-toned wood has become hugely popular in modern homes, and rightly so – it feels fresh, calm and contemporary. The catch is that keeping it looking that way takes the right product, because most traditional oils are designed to enrich and darken wood, which is the last thing you want on a pale surface. Greenfix White solves that neatly: it maintains and protects while preserving, and even enhancing, that cool light-grey character. Used a couple of times a year on tables, sideboards and other oiled or matt-varnished surfaces, it keeps your furniture nourished and guarded against the little accidents of daily life, so it stays looking as good as the day you first brought it home.

Why choose Greenfix White?

• Made for pale wood: keeps light and grey-toned surfaces looking cool and fresh rather than warming them up.
• Nourishes the timber: feeds oiled and matt-varnished wood to keep it in good condition.
• Protects against moisture and heat: helps shield surfaces from everyday spills, cups and marks.
• Reduces staining: the care oil helps prevent stains taking hold on treated wood.
• Refreshes the look: the white pigment intensifies a transparent light-grey finish.

How to use Greenfix White wood care oil

1. Make sure the surface is clean and dry, and that the room is comfortably warm.
2. Apply the oil thinly and evenly with a lint-free cloth, working along the grain.
3. Let it soak in for a few minutes, then wipe off any surplus with a clean, dry cloth.
4. Allow the surface to dry fully before use, and repeat two to three times a year or as needed.

Haico’s tip: oil-soaked cloths can be a fire risk as they dry, so never leave them screwed up in a bin. Lay them flat outdoors to dry completely, or soak them in water before you throw them away.
