Great results start with the right cloth, and the Slitesterk shoe polishing cloth is a genuine workhorse. Measuring roughly 30 x 30cm, this soft yet sturdy cotton cloth lets you apply shoe cream, polish, wax and lotion evenly, then buff your shoes up to a deep, warm shine.

Kitchen towel and old t-shirts simply cannot compete. A proper polishing cloth spreads product smoothly, does not shed fluff onto wet polish and gives you the control you need to work colour into every crease and seam. The tight cotton weave picks up excess polish and leaves a clean, even finish across the whole shoe.

How to use your shoes

  2. Pick up a small amount of cream, polish or wax and apply it to the leather in light circles.

  4. Buff briskly along the leather until an even shine appears.
  5. For a higher gloss, dampen the cloth very slightly and continue buffing in small circles.
