How to use Omni’Nettoyant
- Brush away loose dirt and dust with a crepe or suede brush.
- Pour a little cleaner into a container and dilute with a small amount of water.
- Apply with the brush using light, even movements across the surface.
- Wipe away the lifted dirt with a clean, damp cloth.
- Leave to dry fully, then brush the nap back up to revive the original texture.
My tips for the best results
Two things make all the difference with suede. First, always clean the whole panel rather than dabbing at a single mark, so you never end up with a clean patch surrounded by a tired surface. Second, be patient with drying – leave the shoes somewhere cool and airy for several hours, well away from direct heat or a radiator, which can stiffen the leather. Once fully dry, a good brush up against the nap revives the texture, and a quick spray of suede protector afterwards will help your freshly cleaned shoes stay looking good for longer.
