Royal Textile Protector Spray – Fabric & Upholstery Stain Protector – 500ml

Description

Royal Textile Protector Spray – invisible protection that keeps fabric looking newer for longer.

Textile furniture is lovely to live with, right up until the first spilled cup of tea or splash of red wine. And here’s the thing — fabric is one of the hardest surfaces to get properly clean once a stain has soaked in, and near-impossible to match the colour again. The far easier route is to protect it before accidents happen. Royal Textile Protector makes your fabrics invisibly water- and stain-repellent, so spills bead up on the surface and can be blotted away before they take hold.

It works on all types of textile and guards against the three big culprits — water, oil and grease — without changing the look or feel of the fabric. One tin covers a sofa or a set of dining chairs and buys you real peace of mind, especially in a busy household with children or pets.

Why choose Royal Textile Protector?

• Invisible barrier: makes textiles water- and stain-repellent without altering colour, feel or breathability.
• Guards against spills: protects against water, oil and grease — the stains that ruin fabric fastest.
• Buys you time: spills sit on the surface so you can blot them away before they soak in.
• For all textiles: ideal for sofas, chairs, cushions and other fabric furnishings.
• Great value: a generous 500ml covers a large piece of furniture.

How to use Royal Textile Protector

1. Remove coarse dirt such as dust and crumbs, and make sure the fabric is clean and dry.
2. Hold the can around 25cm from the surface.
3. Spray evenly, making sure the whole area gets a good, even layer.
4. Leave it to soak in and dry fully.
5. Once dry, your textiles are protected and ready to use again.

Reapply after any deep clean, or roughly once a year on well-used furniture, to keep the protection at its best. It is always easier — and cheaper — to protect fabric than to try to rescue it after a stain has set.

Haico’s tip

Always test on a small, hidden area first and let it dry before doing the whole piece. And if a spill does happen on protected fabric, blot it straight away with a clean cloth rather than rubbing — blotting lifts the liquid, rubbing works it in.

Frequently asked questions

Will it change how my sofa looks or feels?
No. It forms an invisible barrier that doesn’t alter the colour, texture or breathability of the fabric — you simply gain stain and water resistance.

How often should I reapply it?
Reapply after every deep clean, or around once a year on frequently used furniture, to keep the protection working well.

Can I use it on carpets and curtains too?
It is suitable for all types of textile, so fabric furnishings like curtains and rugs can be protected in the same way. Always test a hidden area first.

How long before the sofa is usable again?
Let it dry fully before use — allow a few hours, and ideally leave it overnight for the barrier to cure properly. Good ventilation while it dries helps, and the protection builds to its best over the first day or two.

Is it safe around children and pets?
Apply it in a well-ventilated room and keep children and pets away until the fabric is completely dry. Once cured, the treated fabric is touch-dry and ready for everyday family use.
