Lecare Heel Grips – Self-Adhesive Anti-Slip Straps for Heels & Pumps

Description

Lecare Heel Grips — self-adhesive straps that stop your heel slipping and make loose shoes fit like they should.

If you have a pair of heels or pumps that slip at the back with every step, you will know how quickly that turns a lovely shoe into a painful one. The Lecare Heel Grips are a simple, clever fix: soft self-adhesive strips that stick inside the heel of your shoe and gently hold your foot in place, so it stops sliding out and rubbing.

I recommend these to customers all the time, because they solve two problems at once. They take up a little of that extra room in a shoe that is slightly too big, and the soft padding shields the back of your heel from the friction that causes blisters and sore spots. They are especially handy in stiff leather shoes that need a bit of wearing in.

A good pair of heels or brogues is an investment, and the little irritations — that heel that keeps popping out, the rub that turns into a blister by lunchtime — are usually what put people off wearing them. These grips deal with the cause rather than the symptom, so you can enjoy the shoes you already own instead of leaving them in the wardrobe. They are just as useful for children’s school shoes bought with a bit of growing room, or for a pair inherited or bought online that turned out a touch loose.

Why choose the Lecare Heel Grips?

• Stops heel slip: the grips fill the gap at the back of the shoe so your foot stays put with every step.
• Prevents blisters: the soft, cushioned surface reduces rubbing and protects sensitive heels from irritation.
• Better fit for loose shoes: ideal for shoes that are half a size too big — you get a snug, secure fit without buying new footwear.
• Discreet and self-adhesive: they sit neatly inside the heel, out of sight, and stay put thanks to a strong adhesive backing.
• Works with most footwear: great for court shoes, pumps, loafers, boots and smart leather shoes for men and women.

How to use the Lecare Heel Grips

1. Make sure the inside of the heel is clean and dry so the adhesive bonds properly.
2. Peel the backing paper off the grip.
3. Position it centrally against the inside back of the shoe, level with where your heel sits.
4. Press firmly for a few seconds so it sticks securely, then leave for a short while before wearing.

Haico’s tip: For very loose shoes, pair a heel grip with a half insole at the front — that takes up room at both ends and gives you a properly secure fit.

Frequently asked questions

Will heel grips make my shoes fit tighter?
Yes — they take up a little space at the back of the shoe, which is exactly what you want when a shoe is slightly too big. For a bigger adjustment, add a cushioning insole as well.

Are they reusable?
The grips are designed to stay in place once fitted. The adhesive is strong and long-lasting, so they are best applied where you want them to stay.

Can I use them in open-back shoes?
They work best in shoes with an enclosed heel. For mules or slingbacks, a forefoot cushion is usually the better choice.

Do heel grips work in trainers and boots as well?
Yes. Anywhere your heel lifts or slides inside an enclosed shoe — trainers, ankle boots, smart shoes — a heel grip helps hold your foot in place and reduces rubbing.
