Description

Dasco Shoe Cream — Mid Brown, 50ml — a nourishing medium-brown wax shoe cream that feeds, protects and refreshes brown smooth leather.

Dasco has been making shoe and leather care in Britain since 1950, and this shoe cream is a proper traditional formula — top-quality waxes, including natural beeswax, blended with a high level of colour pigment. In Mid Brown it does three jobs at once: it feeds smooth leather to keep it soft and supple, protects it against drying and cracking, and refreshes faded, scuffed and worn areas so your shoes look cared-for again. It comes in the classic 50ml glass jar and, used little and often, one jar lasts a very long time.

It suits everyday medium-brown leather shoes, boots, brogues and loafers in mid brown and similar tones. A quick feed and buff every few weeks keeps the colour looking rich and even, stops smooth leather drying out between full cleans, and means a good pair stays comfortable and handsome for years rather than months.

Why choose Dasco Shoe Cream in Mid Brown?

  • Nourishes and feeds the leather. Rich waxes and oils keep smooth leather soft, supple and less likely to dry out or crack over time.
  • Refreshes medium brown tones. A high level of pigment revives faded and scuffed leather, restoring an even, cared-for mid brown colour.
  • Brings up a fine, lasting shine. A quick buff after it has soaked in leaves a deep, even, well-cared-for finish.
  • Helps protect against the elements. The wax content adds a layer of protection against everyday moisture and grime.
  • Classic 50ml glass jar. A little goes a long way, so a single jar keeps a favourite pair looking their best for a long time.

How to use Dasco Shoe Cream

  1. Brush off any loose dirt and dust first, and let damp shoes dry naturally.
  2. Scoop a small amount onto a soft cloth or applicator brush.
  3. Work it into the leather in small circles, covering the whole shoe evenly — pay a little extra attention to scuffed or faded areas.
  4. Leave it for a few minutes so the cream can soak in and nourish the leather.
  5. Buff with a clean, soft brush or cloth until you bring up an even shine.
  6. Build up gradually with a second light layer if you want deeper colour or a higher shine.

A little tip from the shop: a little cream goes a long way. I always work it in with a soft cloth in small circles, leave it a few minutes to sink in, then buff with a clean brush — that is what brings up the deep, even shine. Keeping on top of it with a light feed every few weeks does far more for the life of a good pair of shoes than an occasional heavy going-over.
