Description

Bama Premium Lambskin Insole — natural sheepskin warmth that keeps cold feet cosy right through winter.

If you are one of those people whose feet never seem to warm up once the cold weather arrives, these are the insoles I always recommend. The Bama Premium Lambskin insole is topped with 100% natural sheepskin — the same wonderful material that keeps sheepskin boots so snug — and there is simply nothing that beats real wool for gentle, breathable warmth. Slip a pair into your boots or winter shoes and you will feel the difference on that first cold morning.

Why choose the Bama Premium Lambskin insole?

  • Real sheepskin warmth. A dense, soft lambskin surface traps your body heat and holds it close, so your feet stay warm without ever feeling clammy.
  • Naturally temperature-regulating. Wool is remarkable stuff — it locks warmth in when it is cold but stays breathable, so your feet stay dry and comfortable even on longer days out.
  • Cushioned latex underlayer. Beneath the fleece sits a flexible latex base that adds a little cushioning underfoot and grips the inside of your shoe so the insole stays exactly where it should.
  • Trim to a perfect fit. Easy to cut down along the size guide, so they fit your favourite winter pair precisely.
  • Made for real winter wear. Ideal for boots, winter boots, walking boots and sturdy work footwear — anywhere cold feet are a problem.

How to use your Bama Premium Lambskin insoles

  1. Remove any existing insole from your boot or shoe.
  2. Place the lambskin insole on top and check the length against your foot.
  3. If needed, trim the toe end along the printed size lines for an exact fit.
  4. Slide them in fleece-side up and press down so the latex base grips.
  5. Air them out now and then to keep the wool fresh, and they will look after your feet all season.

A little tip from the shop: sheepskin performs best when you give it room to breathe. If you wear these day in, day out through the winter, try to rotate between two pairs of boots so each set of insoles gets the chance to air and recover overnight. You will get noticeably more warmth and a longer life out of the wool that way. And if your boots are already a snug fit, take the original factory insole out before you drop these in — sheepskin is wonderfully cosy, but it does like a little space.

Frequently asked questions

Will my feet get sweaty in wool insoles?
No — and this is where natural sheepskin really shines. Wool wicks moisture away and stays breathable, so it keeps your feet warm and dry rather than hot and damp the way synthetic insoles can.

Are they thick? Will they still fit in my boots?
They are cosy but sensibly slim. For the roomiest fit, take out your boot’s original insole first, then drop these in. In snug shoes I would size up half a size for winter.

How do I keep them fresh?
Air them regularly and they will stay lovely. If they need more, a gentle spot clean and a thorough air-dry away from direct heat is all real sheepskin asks for.
