Description
Bama Gel Heel Grips – a simple fix for slipping heels.
There are few things more frustrating than shoes that slip at the heel with every step. Whether a pair is a touch too big, or the back is simply a little loose, that constant movement leads to rubbing, blisters and discomfort. The Bama Gel Heel Grip is the perfect solution, gently holding your heel in place so you can walk in comfort and confidence.
Each grip is made from a soft, elastic gel that feels lovely against the skin and moulds seamlessly to the shape of your heel. The self-adhesive backing sticks firmly inside the shoe and stays put while you walk or stand, so there is no shifting or peeling as you go about your day. By securing the heel in the right position and reducing friction between your foot and the shoe, these grips help prevent the blisters and irritation that a loose fit so often causes.
They are ideal for shoes that are slightly too large, new footwear that needs breaking in, or any pair where your heel tends to lift. A small, affordable accessory that makes a real difference to how your shoes feel.
It is a small accessory, but the comfort it brings is out of all proportion to its size. Many customers tell me that a simple set of heel grips rescued a pair of shoes they had almost given up on, turning an awkward, slipping fit into one they can wear happily all day.
Why choose Bama Gel Heel Grips?
- Stops heel slipping: holds your foot securely in place so you can walk without that annoying lift.
- Prevents blisters: cuts down friction at the heel to reduce rubbing, irritation and sore spots.
- Soft, comfortable gel: the elastic gel moulds to your heel and feels gentle all day.
- Stays firmly in place: the self-adhesive backing keeps the grip from shifting while you move.
- Improves the fit of loose shoes: a quick, affordable way to make slightly big shoes wearable.
- Discreet and versatile: sits neatly out of sight and works in most styles of footwear.
How to use Bama Gel Heel Grips
- Make sure the inside of the heel area of your shoe is clean and completely dry.
- Peel the backing away from the self-adhesive side of the grip.
- Press the grip firmly into position at the back of the heel inside the shoe.
- Hold for a few seconds to secure, then leave for a short while before wearing for the best bond.
My tip: let the adhesive settle for an hour or so before you wear the shoes. A firm first bond helps the grips stay put for far longer.

Frequently asked questions
Will heel grips make my shoes fit if they are too big? They make a noticeable difference by taking up space at the heel and pushing your foot forward slightly. For shoes that are only a little too large, they are an excellent fix.
Can I reposition them after sticking them down? It is best to place them carefully the first time, as repeated repositioning can weaken the adhesive. Clean, dry shoes give the strongest bond.
Are they comfortable for all-day wear? Yes. The soft gel is designed to be worn all day, cushioning the heel gently rather than adding a hard edge, so you barely notice they are there.
