2. Test the shade on a hidden area – the back of the sofa or under a cushion – and let it dry fully before you judge the colour.
3. Apply the cream thinly with a soft, lint-free cloth, working in circles.
4. Do not try to do a whole sofa in one go. Work panel by panel: one cushion, one arm, one back section at a time, so nothing dries before you have buffed it.
5. Let it absorb for a few minutes.
6. Buff off with a clean dry cloth. For badly faded leather, a second thin coat the following day does more than one thick coat ever will. Repeat the whole treatment two or three times a year.
